The Metropolitan Regatta is an independent event founded in 1866 and run under a deed of trust on behalf of the rowing community.  Any financial surpluses from the regatta are held as reserves and exclusively used for the regatta to help improve it and to ensure that it is sustainable in the long term.

Below are copies of the summary of our accounts to help our supporters, competitors, coaches, and clubs understand the costs associated with running the regatta and to demonstrate our careful financial stewardship of the event.

Our supplier costs have risen each year, but where possible we have not increased entry fees or kept them to a minimum. We are ever conscious of the impact of raising entry fee costs on competitors and will continue to try to minimise these.
